Introduction to Music / Musical Awakening
At École des Étoiles, we also offer an introductory course in music dedicated to 2 to 4 year olds. We show them different instruments such as keyboard, guitar, flute, tambourine, maracas, bells, etc... Through exploration, play and listening.
The subject of the classes include nature, travel, seasons, nursery rhymes, performances, craft and drawing.

Listening and understanding different genres of music such as : Pop, Chorus, Orchestra and solo.
Understanding musical words like tempo, nuances, tone and scale are also in the program.

All these elements are explored through singing, dancing, listening and touching the instruments.
​
A days worksheet is given at the end of the lesson, as well as their drawings so that you as a parent can take part in their lesson for fun.
We hope that we have opened up your interest for this fun way to teach children about music. The ultimage goal is to enjoy listening to music and being able to express ourselves through it.
